IATF 16949 Update – ASPICE, TISAX, ACMS, VDA PPAP and Other News
2020 was a momentous year for many reasons. While the COVID epidemic was front and center, the other news was the Automotive Industry moving towards Electric vehicles. Every car company announced ambitious plans for the EV market, and unknown to the public, was the additional move toward autonomous vehicles. The IATF 16949 standard and associated CSRs went through major changes. The IATF 16949 went through 4 releases of changes. The Ford CSR manual went through 2 changes, and so did the GM, FCA, Ford, Renault, and BMW CSR manuals. Lastly, in other significant news, the registrars were given a green signal to conduct remote audits of their Automotive customers. In this webinar will cover each of these changes and its impact.

Furthermore, there were changes on the software side that many IATF 16949 organizations experienced, mainly the advent of ASPICE for software. Use of a “process standard” for embedded software is a requirement of IATF 16949 2019 and 2020 saw OEMs require ASPICE of their software suppliers. This requirement will only intensify in the industry. The VDA PPAP went through a change now requiring software as a part of the PPAP requirement. European OEMs are now requiring TISAX, a Cybersecurity Management System aligned with ISO 27001. Notably, a new Automotive Cybersecurity Standard ISO 21434 will be released later this year. This laundry list of changes, along with a UN 29 standard and a VDA Automotive Cybersecurity Management System Standard (ACMS), will all impact Automotive management Systems greatly.

Join this 1.5 hours webinar to be appraised of these major changes impacting the Management System as a whole.
